The Band

Magnadur is a melodic blackened death metal band from Turku, Finland, formed in 2024 and signed to Metal Madness Studios.

Since 2024 the band has released a relentless run of albums, EPs and singles — from Xtabay and Unholy Punisher through Beautiful Nightmare and Punishment of Hamlet to the 18-track full-length Shaman Lord, which landed on the Metal Hammer album release calendar.

The track “Murtuneiden huippujen polku” was picked up by New Music Friday Suomi, Finland’s biggest new-music playlist, now at 106,000 followers.

Recording, mixing and mastering are handled at Metal Madness Studios. The upcoming EP Blackened by the Cold arrives ahead of the next full-length, Walls of Mysteries, in winter 2027.
